It’s been a few weeks now, and we’ve probably all had our fill of binge watching shows, scrolling through Instagram and countless Zoom hangouts. And while we appreciate all these things, there’s so much more to the power of the internet than endless TikTok challenges! Unless you’re in school with your envious summer holidays, worldwide, we probably have more ‘free time’ than we will ever experience again. Why not put it to good use and learn a new skill?
There’s nothing more satisfying than making something you’d normally purchase; bread, pasta… the list goes on. Given the scarcity of flour some time back, we’re sure several people have enough to start experimenting! You would be surprised what you can do with things that you have around the house.
And while some things are definitely easier to pick up than others, there’s no better time to learn than the present! There are tutorials on YouTube for almost anything you can think of. Want to learn to make hummus? There’s a video for that. Want to learn to knit a jumper? They’ve got you covered. That editing software you’ve always wanted to master – now is the time!
